How to Make Cauliflower Fried Rice in Easy Steps

Cauliflower fried rice is a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional fried rice, made with white rice. Here’s how to make it:


  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 cup mixed veggies (such as chopped onions, bell peppers, and carrots)
  • 2 eggs, scrambled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce


  1. Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower, and cut the head into florets.
  2. Pulse the cauliflower florets in a food processor until they are roughly the size of rice grains.
  3. In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the mixed veggies and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the cauliflower “rice” to the skillet and stir to combine with the veggies. Sauté for 3-5 minutes, or until the cauliflower is slightly tender.
  5. Push the cauliflower and veggies to the sides of the skillet, creating a well in the center. Add the scrambled eggs to the well and stir until cooked.
  6. Stir in the soy sauce and continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes, until everything is heated through.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your healthy and delicious cauliflower fried rice!
